About Tickets
- I lost my ticket. Can you reissue it?
- Tickets are treated in the same way as cash vouchers, and even if you have proof of purchase (ticket receipt, receipt, or other tickets purchased at the same time), we will not reissue them under any circumstances. Please keep your tickets in a safe place until the day of the performance.
Also, please do not change your device after downloading your electronic ticket to the app.
- How old do I need to be to get a ticket?
- All elementary school students and older must have one ticket per person to enter the SUMMER SONIC venue.
Preschoolers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and one child per parent or guardian may enter free of charge. Please note that there are restrictions on the entry area, and it is prohibited to stand in the front of the standing area as it is extremely dangerous. If you are found doing so, you will be asked to move to another area. Furthermore, strollers may not be brought into the venue for any purpose other than for children.
Parents and guardians must follow staff instructions, never take their eyes off their children, observe proper etiquette, and be considerate of other guests. Those who fail to comply with these rules may be forcibly removed from the venue. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
Furthermore, the organizers, venue, and artists shall not be held liable for any accidents, incidents, injuries, or other occurrences that may arise within or outside the venue. We kindly request that customers and guardians take responsibility for any such matters.
- Can I watch the show in a safe area with my child?
- Some stages have designated family areas. Children under elementary school age and their guardians are welcome to view the performances from these areas. However, due to limited space, admission to these areas may be restricted.
Stages with family areas (Mountain, Sonic, Pacific)

- What is a Platinum Ticket?
- A Platinum Ticket is a SUMMER SONIC 1-DAY ticket that includes Platinum benefits.Please refer to details Platinum BenefitsandPlatinum FAQ
Preschool children are not permitted to enter the Platinum Area. Preschool children are also not eligible for other Platinum benefits.
- I can no longer go to SUMMER SONIC. Can I get a refund?
- No refunds, cancellations or changes will be made after tickets have been purchased.
- The artist I wanted to see cancelled his/her performance. Can I get a refund for the ticket?
- No refunds will be made due to changes in artists. Please understand this in advance.
- I'd like to sell my ticket because it's not convenient for me ...
- The transfer or resale of tickets for profit is strictly prohibited under Article 13 (Prohibition of Resale) of the Live Entertainment Terms and Conditions established by the Association of Concert Promoters (ACPC).
Tickets purchased through private transactions, auction sites, or unauthorized ticket resale sites are not guaranteed to be valid. If it is discovered that you are attempting to enter the venue with a transferred or resold ticket, you will be denied entry. In such cases, legal action may be taken, so please be aware of this in advance.
Additionally, any issues arising from ticket transfers or resales on the day of the performance must be resolved between the parties involved.
- I purchased a ticket through a non-authorized sales channel.
- We cannot guarantee admission for customers who purchase tickets through other than authorized sales channels such as Viagogo, Ticket Distribution Center, StubHub, ticketjam, and other private sales channels. There is a possibility of getting into trouble such as fraud as a result of buying and selling on the above websites or between individuals. Please be aware that you may be subject to questioning by police authorities, and in some cases, both the seller and the buyer may be punished
- Is there a set of tickets for Tokyo and Osaka?
- There are no through tickets for the two venues, Tokyo and Osaka. Tickets are valid only for the performance date and venue indicated on the ticket. A single ticket cannot be used by more than one person.
- I see that wristbands are supported, but can I go out of the venue after entering?
- By showing the wristband worn in exchange for the ticket at the time of admission to the venue, you may freely enter and leave the venue from the time the doors open until the end of the performance. The wristband will be worn in accordance with the performance dates and venues indicated on the ticket, so please do not remove the wristband until all the performance dates you purchased are completed.
- I accidentally took off (cut) my wristband...
- Wristbands will not be reissued if damaged or lost for any reason. If you are not wearing your wristband, you will not be allowed to enter the venue. Please treat your wristband with care and do not remove it until the end of the festival.
If you are found to have entered the venue illegally, you will be asked to leave the venue regardless of the reason. In such cases, we will hand you over to the police and take legal action against you.
- Can I use my SUMMER SONIC ticket to enter the MIDNIGHT SONIC (midnight show)?
- All SUMMER SONIC Tokyo concert tickets are valid for admission, but tickets for August 17 (Sun) will only be valid for admission after 22:00 on August 16 (Sat).For more detailsTICKETS pagePlease check the "ticket validity period."
- Are there any tickets sold exclusively for MIDNIGHT SONIC (late-night performances)?
- Yes. Please refer to the TICKETS page for details.

About Food and Beverage
- Can I bring my own food and drink?
- Only PET bottles and "My Bottle" bottles may be brought into the venue (bottles, cans, and food are not allowed). (No bottles, cans, or food are allowed.) PET bottles of water, tea (unsweetened), and sports drinks are allowed in the outdoor stage block and on the indoor stage, but juices, alcohol, and other beverages are not allowed. Salt tablets and salt candy are not included in the food items.
- Can I eat and drink at the venue?

- What can I use to pay for food and beverage?
- Only electronic money payments are accepted in the ZOZOMarine Stadium area and Makuhari Messe area (except for permanent stores).
Cash payments are only accepted in the beach area.
About Goods
- When do you start selling merchandise? Can I purchase merchandise without a ticket?
- Only customers who have purchased SUMMER SONIC tickets and exchanged them for wristbands will be able to purchase merchandise. (Tickets may also be presented.)
In addition, we will introduce a "merchandise ticket" (using the LINE app) for all ticket holders.

- Are there any restrictions on the purchase of goods?
- Some goods may be set aside. In that case, we will inform you at the site on the day of the performance.
- What can I use to pay for goods?
- Cashless payments (credit cards, electronic money, and code payments) are accepted. Cash is not accepted.
Other
- Is it possible to record or film the show at the venue?
- Photographing or recording performing artists, live streaming, etc. with camera-equipped mobile phones or compact digital cameras (video cameras, professional photography equipment, telephoto lenses, recording equipment, action cameras, etc. are prohibited) is strictly prohibited. If such behavior is discovered, the equipment will be confiscated and you will be asked to leave the venue. Depending on the nature of the offense, you may be handed over to the police, so please be aware of this in advance.
- Can I bring compact cameras and other equipment to the venue?
- However, video cameras, professional-grade filming equipment, telephoto lenses, recording equipment, action cameras, etc. are strictly prohibited. Photography is allowed only when the subject of the photo is the visitor himself/herself. Filming of the performing artists with such equipment is strictly prohibited.
- Are there places where I can use chairs or leisure seats?
- Chairs, leisure sheets, and tents are not allowed in the Tokyo venue.
Please do not leave your luggage unattended or engage in other disruptive behavior in order to take up space. Any luggage left unattended will be removed immediately.
- What other items are prohibited from being brought in?
- For details, please refer to the Precautions section.
Please note that even if an item does not fall under the precautions listed, it may still be prohibited if deemed dangerous by staff.
- Is parking available at the venue?
- There is public parking available near the venue, but spaces are limited. We recommend using public transportation.
- Is there a place for children to play or a nursing room?
- There is a breastfeeding-friendly space called "Kids Area" in the Makuhari Messe area where children can play (admission is only allowed when accompanied by a parent or guardian). Please check the official website and SUMMER SONIC app in advance for details on the location. There are no facilities such as daycare centers where children can be left in care.
There is also a breastfeeding room at ZOZOMarine Stadium, so please ask the staff if you wish to use it.
- Is smoking allowed in the venue?
- Smoking is prohibited in all areas except in designated smoking areas. If you wish to smoke, please use the smoking areas provided on site, including those for electronic cigarettes, heated cigarettes, etc. Please do not linger in the smoking areas. When using the smoking areas, please do not stay long and behave in an appropriate manner
- Is wheelchair accessible?
- Wheelchair access is available. Each stage has a handicapped area. However, please note that admission may be restricted due to limited space. If you are accompanied by someone, please note that each person will need a ticket.
No application is required for the handicapped area.
- Are pets allowed?
- No animals are allowed. However, guide dogs and nursing dogs are allowed.
- I am pregnant. Can I ask for a chair?
- Doctors and nurses are stationed in the first aid area inside the venue, but as there are no specialists, they may not be able to respond to changes in your physical condition. Please consult with your family and primary care physician in advance.
In addition, chairs are not available. Please note that you are not allowed to bring your own folding chairs.
The venue is expected to be crowded on the day of the event, so we recommend that those who are not confident in their physical condition refrain from attending.
- Are coin lockers/cloakrooms (baggage storage) available?
- There is a cloakroom available for ¥2,000 per day (70-liter plastic bag) where you can store and retrieve your belongings freely.

(From 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, cloakroom services are available exclusively for customers with morning priority tickets.)
Please note that cloakroom services are not available at MIDNIGHT SONIC. Please use the coin lockers installed at Makuhari Messe. (Usage hours may vary depending on the location.)
- Can I leave my stroller with you?
- We will keep them at the cloakroom for ¥2,000 per day.
You can also leave them next to the kids' area when using the kids' area.
- I dived and injured someone...
- Diving and moshing are extremely dangerous acts and are strictly prohibited. Please understand that the organizer, venue, and artists are not responsible for any accidents, incidents, injuries, etc. caused by diving or moshing. The organizer will not be involved in any discussions or other problem-solving measures.
- What should I do if I feel sick in the venue?
- Please come to the first aid area set up in the venue or ask a nearby staff member for help. Please check the location of the first-aid area on the official website, the SUMMER SONIC app, and signs at the venue in advance. If you need to call an ambulance, please refrain from calling it in yourself and ask a nearby staff member to do so. The organizer will coordinate with the emergency services
- What should I do if I lost or left something at the venue?
- Please check if it has not been delivered to the information booth at the venue. Contact information for inquiries after the event period will be announced on the official SUMMER SONIC website at a later date.
