It’s finally here—the announcement of the three-day SUMMER SONIC lineup to commemorate our 25th anniversary!

From rock, hip-hop, R&B, Latin, metal, punk, Asian pop, club culture, to Eurodance—this year’s lineup reflects SUMMER SONIC’s history and current state, featuring a convergence of every sound and genre that drives the global music scene. Discover what kind of music awaits you and create your own unique story as part of the festival.
Additionally, as part of the lineup for Osaka on Saturday, August 15, we’re thrilled to announce ATARASHII GAKKO!, who continue to make waves on the global stage and set audiences ablaze with their overwhelming performances, Czecho No Republic, who have gained a following with their pop-infused, colorful sound and solid band chemistry, and Rol3ert, an up-and-coming artist attracting attention with their genre-spanning sensibility and sophisticated sound, will perform on Saturday, August 15, in Osaka.

In addition, the opening acts—who will shape the future of the music scene—have been announced.

HANRORO—a new-generation singer-songwriter who has had a string of long-running hits in South Korea— EMNW—who delivers live shows brimming with a fusion of styles both at home and abroad—and BANSHIMOKU—whose intense live performances are the talk of the town— Liza—who is making her mark on the next-generation R&B/rap scene—the modern metal band Zilqy—gaining attention for their fresh sensibility— o.j.o, the 15-year-old singer-songwriter who has been making waves, and from Osaka, the three-piece band from the Hokusetsu region, Re:name, have been confirmed to perform.
