With general ticket sales now underway, certain ticket types in Tokyo—including Platinum tickets—have already SOLD OUT, and the excitement for SUMMER SONIC’s 25th anniversary is building even further with the announcement of the 11th wave of additional artists.

First, KASABIAN, who were originally scheduled to perform on the MOUNTAIN STAGE in Osaka on August 15 (Saturday), have been moved to the AIR STAGE, where they will blast out rock anthems in the slot preceding THE STROKES.

On Friday, August 14, at PAVILION in Osaka, in-d —who exudes a unique presence with his down-to-earth yet sharp lyrics and a flow that leaves room for interpretation— Masato Hayashi and lil soft tennis, who present a new form of music with their alternative sensibilities and free-spirited sound, have been confirmed to perform. The lineup will allow you to experience the excitement of today’s hip-hop and alternative scenes firsthand.

On Saturday, August 15, singer-songwriter Mao Abe —who has long enjoyed a devoted following thanks to her powerful yet delicate vocals and lyrics that speak directly to the listener’s heart—is set to perform on the BEACH STAGE in Tokyo. Additionally, Non & the tears of knight —who have carved out a unique artistic path as actors and artists while exuding a one-of-a-kind presence in music—will take the stage with a special band lineup. Each artist’s unique personality and the intense energy of a live performance will add new vibrancy to the open-air atmosphere of the BEACH STAGE.

On Saturday, August 15, at PAVILION in Osaka, a special event titled HAPPY FLOWER LIVE has been announced, bringing together a diverse lineup of artists— Hiplin, NANAO TAVITO, NODATIN, TOCCHI, and UKI —to let the flowers of music bloom. Also appearing will be MAMIKO SUZUKI, who paints a unique world with lyrics that capture everyday scenes, a warm singing voice, and a soothing groove; Crazy Wowow!!, who draws the audience in with their playful sound and live energy; GooDee, who delivers a supple and sophisticated sound; and Lavt, who is gaining attention for their genre-defying pop sensibility and fresh creativity.

On Sunday, August 16, at PAVILION in Osaka, Liza —who exudes a unique presence with her sharp rapping and genre-defying sensibility—will join the lineup to heat up the final day of SUMMER SONIC at PAVILION.
