“5x5 Years of SUMMER SONIC,” exclusive Spotify content that looks back on the 25-year history of SUMMER SONIC through both official playlists and video podcasts, is now available starting today. This special project combines a playlist that lets you relive the music of past SUMMER SONIC artists in five-year increments from the inaugural event in 2000 to the present, with a video podcast featuring in-depth retrospective discussions by SUMMER SONIC organizer Naoki Shimizu and Sasha (SUMMER SONIC Main Stage MC).
“Episode 1: 2000-2004” of the video podcast is available today and is also included at the beginning of the corresponding playlist. New episodes of the video podcast will be released every Friday at noon until May 22, so stay tuned!
