Performers confirmed for Tokyo (Fri, Aug 14) and Osaka (Sat, Aug 15) include the talented Irish singer-songwriter DERMOT KENNEDY,HOLLY HUMBERSTONE whose new album, set for release in April, is generating high anticipation—and macaroniempitsu whose popularity continues to grow across generations and genres. Additionally, the lineup has been expanded to include PiXXiE a girl group gaining attention in Thailand’s pop scene (Tokyo only); WISP, a neo-shoegaze artist whose first Japan concert in January sold out immediately; and QUEEN BEE who exudes an overwhelming presence through their commitment to expressing a new aesthetic (Tokyo only).

On Saturday, August 15 in Tokyo and Sunday, August 16 in Osaka, Israeli alternative rock band FATHER OF PEACE and rock icon JON SPENCER who headlined the very first SUMMER SONIC will return to the festival’s 25th anniversary edition under his solo name. Additionally, the Philippine national pop stars SB19(Tokyo only), known for their sophisticated performances, have been confirmed to perform.

On Sunday, August 16 in Tokyo and Friday, August 14 in Osaka, Ave Mujica a talented five-piece girl band born from BanG Dream!—and .ENDRECHERI. Tsuyoshi Domoto’s project that invites audiences to new experiences through a unique style that blends music, fashion, and art with a focus on funk music—will take the stage.

Additionally, JENNIE will be performing in Tokyo on the 14th and in Osaka on the 16th.
