On August 19(Sat.) in Tokyo and 20(Sun.) in Osaka will be TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, which has influenced many Japanese bands with its unique sense of style. WET LEG, a rock band that has won two Grammy Awards and two Brit Awards and recently sold out its Japan tour. HONNE an electro-pop duo that is extremely popular in Asia. [Alexandros], a band representing Japan with overwhelming popularity in Japan, and SLOWTHAI, a hot rapper from Northampton, England, will perform on August 19 (Sat.) in Tokyo only.

On August 20(Sun.) in Tokyo and August 19(Sat.) in Osaka will be THE KID LAROI, whose hit song “Stay” topped the U.S. Billboard charts for a total of seven weeks and has been played more than 3 billion times around the world, and who will release their debut album this year. Korean producer and DJ Night Tempo, who emerged from the “Future Funk” scene, a music genre that originated on the internet that reconstructed Pops into dance music. TREASURE, a young charismatic singer who pursues the essence of rock, and WILLOW, a young singer who pursues the essence of rock, have been selected. Also scheduled to appear at SUMMER SONIC are AI, a one-of-a-kind female artist who enjoys overwhelming support from all generations; Awich, who has established a firm position as the Queen of the hip-hop world; and Macaroni empitsu, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a spectacular band sound and an overwhelming stage performance. Afro-Cuban rock stars CIMAFUNK, who were described by George Clinton as “the next man up,” will also make their first visit to Japan at SUMMER SONIC on August 20 (Sun.) in Tokyo only.
