Mulasaki Ima

A 24-year-old next-generation creator who independently handles every aspect of her work, including songwriting, composition, arrangement, artwork, and music video production. Influenced from an early age by gospel and African music, she possesses a husky voice with a five-octave range, skillfully commanding shouts, vocal runs, and whistle tones.

She began releasing music digitally in 2023 with “Golden Time.” Her music videos for “Fatal Woman A” in 2024 and “That Rumored Girl” in 2025 each surpassed 10 million views, achieving this milestone for two consecutive years. Combined, the two songs have exceeded 1 billion views across social media platforms.

Her first solo concerts, “Mulasaki Ima LIVE 2024 ‘Episode 0,’” sold out in both Tokyo and Osaka. Her November 2025 solo show “Backrooms Parade” also sold out. She performed at COUNTDOWN JAPAN for two consecutive years in 2024 and 2025, and in 2025 contributed lyrics to ILLIT’s “Toki yo Tomare.” The same year, she also appeared at SUMMER SONIC 2025 in both Tokyo and Osaka, as well as making her first overseas festival appearance in South Korea at WONDERLIVET. In 2026, she was selected as the opening act for the SPARKLING DOME (KSPO DOME) stage at Seoul Jazz Festival 2026, marking her second appearance at a Korean music festival.

She continues to go viral not only in Japan, but internationally as well.
